HOW IT STARTED
In 2017, Jill took a leap and launched Omaha's first fashion truck, hello ruby, named after her beloved mini Labradoodle, Ruby. What started as a simple idea quickly turned into a six-figure success. Her mobile boutique quickly caught on, leading her to events all around Omaha and Lincoln, joining Midwest collectives, and eventually creating her own designs to sell wholesale to other boutiques.
In 2019, Jill partnered with another boutique owner to start A Local Collective, a hub for local businesses to connect and collaborate. As her passion for supporting other boutique owners grew, Jill found herself increasingly more excited about hosting events and sharing ideas with fellow entrepreneurs.
After a fulfilling seven-year run and with a growing family, she sold her business to focus on helping others start their own adventures, sharing everything she’s learned along the way.

These words, passed down from Jill (Kocsis) Dudzinski's mom, have become her personal mantra. Growing up with a local artist, Jill was immersed in creativity, passion, and the freedom to explore her dreams. Her mom’s vibrant legacy lives on in Omaha, and in Jill’s heart, driving her to embrace life with joy and adventure.
Jill’s entrepreneurial spirit developed when she launched Omaha's first mobile fashion truck in 2017, hello ruby, a stylish venture that took the streets by storm. After selling the business, Jill shifted her focus to empowering small businesses through her co-founded platform, A Local Collective, and her podcast "Behind the Business." Through these projects, Jill shares her love for local entrepreneurship, collaboration, and community building.
Incorporating her "go out and play" philosophy into her daily life, Jill and her husband Austin, along with their two kids Paxton and Noelle, live by the same adventurous spirit.
For Jill, life is about more than business—it's about embracing the everyday moment and building a life full of love and laughter.
